GERARD DE HOOP

Gerard de Hoop (1968) is a Dutch designer based in Groningen, working in furniture, product and spatial design. In 1995 he graduated in Architectural and Interior Design from Minerva Art Academy in Groningen.

His work is defined by geometric clarity and a graphic visual language. Using minimal means and precise lines, he creates furniture and objects that are both elemental and unexpected.

A number of his designs are included in international design collections.
