Stool Vincent at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris

VINCENT Musee des Arts Decoratifs Paris

From December 2nd, 2021, until May 15th, 2022, the prestigious Musée des Arts Décoratifs will captivate visitors with an extraordinary exhibition titled “Le design pour tous: de Prisunic à Monoprix, une aventure française.” This showcase will pay homage to the rich history of accessible design, tracing its evolution from Prisunic to Monoprix, symbolizing a remarkable French journey.

Among the pieces showcased was the Stool Vincent, a design by Gerard de Hoop. This stool, which was contributed to the “Dutch Design for Monoprix” campaign back in 2015, has now been reintroduced by the French retail chain. It’s incredibly gratifying to witness the stools reclaim their place in the limelight once again, thanks to Monoprix’s revival of this fine collaboration.
